Ultra Social
Problem Statement
Ultra-social needs to increase user engagement by integrating friend lists, recommendation systems, and real-time chat, drawing inspiration from popular social media platforms to facilitate instant user connections.
My Role
As a UX/UI designer, I led user research, ideation, and design, collaborating with the product owner to create efficient mobile friendly solutions based on market needs.
Team
I collaborated with 6 developers, a product owner, and marketing/community managers to create quick prototypes for testing different concepts.
Tools & Practices
I used Figma/Adobe XD for design, Jira for Agile project management, and Hotjar for user research, along with conducting global user interviews.

Incentives
Problem two is solved using a 'Like' and 'Badge' system that strategically excites users while fostering trust among them.

Cross- platform chat
Problem three is solved with a cross-platform chat accessible in-game, which initiates an automated message as soon as a friend request is accepted.

A full social experience
Problem one is solved by creating a system that constantly updates users about people they'd like to hang out with, guiding them on who to talk to and which activities to join.
Problem Areas and Design Solutions
Problem One
Users need direction on who to connect with and what activities to join.
Problem Two
Users lose motivation without systems to track their progress.
Problem Three
Users need new friends and a sense of trust within the community.
